Dan McLelland is an avid hand loader, target shooter, varmint hunter and big game hunter with nearly 40 years spent tuning rifles and ammunition the hard way–on the bench and in the field. Any hunter knows that the difference between a 2 inch group and a 3 inch group can be the difference between a freezer full of meat and going home empty handed. 

Dan knows what it takes to make a rifle something you can count on when it matters. Sometimes its bad bedding. Sometimes it’s a barrel fouled up with copper. More often than not, it’s a scope that was never set up quite right. Little problems, big consequences.

At Hillbilly Arms, we fix those problems. We’ve packed rifles up mountains, taken the long shots in bad weather and felt the payoff when everything comes together.
