Ruger M77 to 22-250 Rem
Ruger M77 conversion from .220 to .22-250 Remington. Rebarreled with a 26″ International Barrels Inc. Sendero-contour barrel, spiral fluted. Topped with Leupold Ringmounts and a Nightforce NX8.
At 107 yards, this rifle trned in a best group of .34 MOA. That’s the kind of consistency that earns confidence in the field.
Fleur de Lis
Custom Remington M700 chambered in .264 Win Mag. Built to run long and hit hard.
Trued and squared stainless long-action M700 with scope screws punched out to 8-40 so heavy glass stays put. Barrel is a Hillbilly Arms Long Range Hunger by Jury Barrels – 29″ of .264 with a 1:7.5″ twist. Long, fast ad meant to send bullets where most rifles quit. Oversized EGW recoil lug keeps everything honest when things start rocking.
Bead-blasted stainless finished in matte tan and black Gunkote. Dropped into a Richards birch laminate Precision Tactical thunbhole stock with GrovTec studs. Free-floated, pillar installed, and three-point glass bedded- No shortcuts no excuses. Trigger is a Timney #533 two-stage: 1.0lb first stage, 2.0lb 4.7oz second. Clean, predictable and ready when you are.
Glass is a Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25×56 (35mm tube), M1C3 dial, side focus, Impact-60 MOA reticle, FP– mounted on a Leupold Mark 4 20-MOA rail with Mark 4 tactical rings. Built to dial, hold and send it.
Range tested. Multiple hand-polished oil coats.
This rifle wasn’t built for bench bragging – it was built for distance, wind and days when missing isn’t an option.
Mauser 98
Mauser Model 98 chamberedin .300 H&H. A family heirloom brought back to life.
Time hadn’t been gentle on this one. The scope mount holes weren’t drilled in line so the old holes were plugged and the action ws properly drilled and tapped. Fitted with modern Leupold STD mounts and topped with a Leupold VX-III carried over from another trusted rifle.
The action showed its years and was fully restored then finished in Gun-Kote to protect it for the next generation. A new Pachmayr F325 recoil pad was fitted. The rear sling swivel had long since pulled out with the front not far behind so both were properly repaired and reinforced. A GrovTec brass insert in the rear and GrovTec machine screw swivel stud installed and a nut-backed machine-screw GrovTec swivel up front.
The stock was refinished back to its original look with a hand polished oil finish. Not a safe queen, not overdone – just solid old rifle made right again, ready to keep earning its stories.

Weatherby MK-V chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum.
After years of dependable service, this rifle was due for some attention before heading into the next generation. The length of pull was extended using a Kick-Eez spacer and a new Pachmayr F325 Field recoil pad with vented sides was fitted to take a bit of the bite out while keeping the traditional look of the original stock.
Years of hard miles in the field an take their toll and it’s not uncommon for swivel studs to pull through. The rear stud was repaired using GrovTec brass threaded insert – a strong, discreet fix that doesn’t draw the eye. The front swivel was repaired with a matching GrovTec nut-backed swivel stud.
The stock was finished with multiple hand polished oil coats and the barrel action was hot blued. A classic rifle refreshed and ready to keep doing what it’s always done – worked hard and be trusted.
PBR Rewards
Custom Tikka T3 chambered in .280 Ackley Improved.
Built on a Tikka T3 action and fitted with a 24″ Proof Research carbon fibre barrel, this rifle balances accuracy and weight the way a working rifle should. Set into a GRS stock and topped with a Vortex Viper scope, it’s finished with a quiet muzzle brake to keep things comfortable in the field.
On the chronograph, this rifle ran 50 fps faster than factory advertised velocity using Hornady Precision Hunter ELD-X 162 gr ammunition. Weight coms in a 8.1 lbs without optics and 10.1 lbs scoped. The carbon-fiber barrel deliver varmint rifle accuracy without the penalty of a heavy build.
Initial range testing at 209 yards showed a three group average of 1.04 MOA with 162 gr bullet and a four group average of .68 MOA with 150 gr bullets in gusting winds up to 7.7 mph. A well balanced rifle that carries easy and shoots straight.

Autumn Leaves
,Browning A-Bolt chambered in 30-06 Springfield.
Set into a Richards Microsoft Wildcat laminate stock in the Autumn Leaves pattern this rifle features a pillar, glass-bedded action and multi-coat hand polished oil finish. Built with an extra-long length of pull to properly fit a taller shooter, it balances comfort with control.
The rifle is fitted with a Hillbilly Arms Long Range Special barrel by Jury Barrels. On the chronograph, factory ammunition ran 141 fps faster than published factory specifications, while giving up only 119 fps to a .300 Win Mag – with a fraction of the recoil. Accuracy is a sub-MOA making this a practical, hardworking rifle that shoots well above its weight.

Weatherby Mk V - 7mm WBY MAG Restoration
This Weatherby Mark V came in needing attention after years of hard use. Stock cracks and breaks were properly repaired, followed by a full stock restoration finished with a hand-polished oil finish. the recoil pad was replaced with a Pachmayr F325 in brown to maintain the rifle’s classic look and feel.
The Leupold M6 scope was reconditioned by Leupold Canada and remounted using new Leupold STD scope mounts. All metal surfaces were reblued to restore both appearance and long-term protection.
A classic Weatherby brought back to sound condition, ready to be trusted in the field once again.
Slave Lake Savage
Savage Model 110L chambered in .30-06 Springfield.
This rifle came in heavily water damaged with the stock finish destroyed, rust throughout the metal and a scope that has seen better days. The goal was simple: make it solid, dependable and ready to hunt again.
The damaged scope was replaced with a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40mm mounted in Leupold STD mounts. Stock breaks were properly repaired, a Pachmayr Decelerrator D750B recoil pad was installed and the stock was fully restored. All metal component were finished in Gun-Kote for a durable, corrosion-resistant finish.
The rifle was then set up and sighted in. Not fancy, not fragile – just a hard-used rifle brought back to honest working order and ready for many more seasons.

Custom Remington M700 – 7mm PRC
Built from the ground up as a serious long-range rifle. The action was trued and squared to ensure perfect alignment and repeatable accuracy. It’s fitted with a 26″ spiral-fluted barrel from International Barrels Inc., Varmint/Sendero contour, cut with a 1:7.5 twist to properly stabilize heavy bullets and finished with an 11° target crown.
For this build, the scope screw holes were drilled and tapped for heavy 8-40 hardware to maximize strength and reliability. The rifle runs a TriggerTech 2-stage trigger, clean and predictable, set at 1 lb 0.2 oz on the first stage and 2 lb 1.0 oz on the second.
The H-S Precision stock features a full-length aluminum bedding block. It’s glass bedded and fully free-floated for consistency shot to shot. Ken Farrell mounts are glass bedded as well, topped with Nightforce optics.
Weight comes in at 12.0 lbs bare rifle.
As with every rifle we rebarrel or scope, it was range tested before leaving the shop. At 108 yards, three groups averaged 1.42 MOA with a best group of 1.354″. At 211 yards, eight groups averaged 0.87 MOA, best group 1.429″, in winds gusting to 11.7 mph. Testing was completed using Hornady 180 gr ELD-Match ammunition.
Every build gets proven on the range, not just on the bench.
